IABC Barbados to share on Communication in Crisis

THE CRISIS COMMUNICATION PLAN

Without one you can lose control of the story – FAST!

The nature of a crisis may vary depending on the industry you are in but as a corporate communicator, one ought to be prepared. Maybe you have a plan but chances are that many of our local practitioners do not.

If you are keen on learning more about crisis communication or just interested in becoming a well rounded PR practitioner then join IABC Barbados for an interactive learning session on the topic “When social media and crisis communications collide”.

This hour-long teleseminar will reveal valuable tips on how to approach the task of developing a crisis communication plan that recognises the speed of today’s social media. It is presented by Gerard Braud, of Braud Communications, New Orleans. An IABC member, Gerard specialises in developing and writing crisis communication plans for organisations including hospitals, universities, and corporations.

Come prepared to listen, learn, and share you own experiences.
