At the opening for Nishi's on old Olives site. Picture me left-handed using chopsticks. Minister Sealy is here, ever the social butterfly but seriously pleased with the aesthetics, the service and of course, the hospitality.
Bruce Bailey is also here and he is beaming at this moment that was but a dream now made palatable for his discerning, cherry-picked guests at this evening's soft launch.
The entry way is at the side of first street where kimono-styled waitresses greeted me. A handsome gentleman brought me my sauvignon blanc and waitress, Sheila, gave me the unofficial tour. Later I'd join the Tempros and Mrs. Bailey and the MOT.
The house music was as light as the atmosphere, which smelt like the lobby in Hilton Abuja, rich, aromatic kaleidoscope of flavours... And now for dessert!
Conversation was provoking and I'm definitely coming back and I hope they have live music.
